Art Attak began in 2005 as a brand for the creative work of Lesley and Grant Weston. Their work spans everything from oil painting through to photography, often using inspiration from nearby Bethells Beach on the West Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Lesley excels in oil painting and Grant is an emerging professional photographer. Together, they provide a collection of artistic studies which hopefully will appeal to many people, both here and overseas.

"I have been passionate about photography for most of my life, having photographed the wonders of the Canadian Rockies, the Grand Canyon and many other beautiful places.
Now I am privileged to live in one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand; Bethells Beach, which has provided a world of opportunity for excelling in the photographic art.
I am a member of the Henderson Photographic Society and the Kumeu Camera Club."

Lesley Weston

"I have been 'messing about' with paint for most of my life, having excelled at tertiary art studies. Over the past five years, I have broadened my focus and my efforts to include sculpture and ceramics, and finding the Bethells Beach environment has influenced the quality of my recent artwork."
